The story follows two students, Luster Dawn and Opaline, under the mentorship of the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle to become the next leaders of Equestria. Using the help of everypony they meet, Luster Dawn and Opaline will face many trials that will aid them in their journey to becoming the ponies they were always destined to be.
